Leigh Dunn

This month’s featured teacher is Leigh Dunn from Willowdale Elementary School in Omaha, Nebraska. Ms. Dunn is known for her creativity in the classroom, so the October pack was a home run for her class!

Mrs. Dunn first taught at Washington Elementary (Alpaca’s first school!) and now teaches second grade at Willowdale, while ALSO instructing at Doane College. Mrs. Dunn leans into creativity in all of her classroom activities, and is a beloved teacher because of it. In her classroom, Ms. Dunn made great use of our October pack. Here's what she wrote: 

"These items were huge hits in my classroom! Spelling grades are improving because these supplies make my kids WANT to practice their words!" Also, we did a fun fall art project with the googly eyes from the pack. My class loved these googly eyes. The best part is that we didn’t have to use messy glue. They were actually stickers!
